[RM] 1.75.1 - Love, I know it now.
Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. King James version of the Bible - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 |
I'm only just about twenty years, and I've had boyfriends. I mean Mickey was with me for a while, and sure I figured I knew what love was back then. Not that I was ready to be betrothed or something to him, I mean imagine the teenage bride like that? Still I thought I knew love. I thought that at least I had a good idea of it. Those single moments when that person can tell you something that makes only you laugh, and I thought I had it figured out.
I was so wrong though.
Love is immeasurable, unconditional and it can drop you to your knees with the single fear that you'll never see that one person again. It can fully encompass your every though and make you think that this one time it'll all work out, because it always works out, because he makes sure it does. Cause he actually cares about the outcome, and when he looks at you and tells you it'll be okay you believe it. It's the only thing you believe in, because he makes it so easy to trust him.
That's love. Trusting in someone else completely and not caring if you've been swapped to house the uppity persona of your enemy, or trapped in the cellar with all the servants while a werewolf breaks free. It's knowing that when you step through the door you'll step back out into a whole new experience and it'll always be one you'll never forget... and why would you want to.
Love is knowing that even though you're far away and think you'd never see them again you still hold on, because you trusted him, and that's all you need in love.

You don't find that often enough.
