The Blind Date Meme

The Blind Date
Meme

As of Saturday November 8th there are
only 46 days left until Christmas.
That means there are only
52 days until New Years Eve.

It doesn't give anyone much time to ensure a gift or a kiss,
let alone the time to find that special someone!

So why not let your friends help out?
Sometimes the best people are ones you
might never meet!!

A friend of a Friend?
A Friend of a Friend of a Friend?
The Six Degrees of Your Friends List
could be the answer!

01. Comment with your username!

02. Your friends will think about you as a person, and try to offer up suggestions of who just might be the perfect person to spend the upcoming holidays with! Even if you have a special someone... maybe you do deserve better!! Or better yet? Have an affair! They're always good for doubling up on your gifts!!

03. Comment with a friends username! Maybe they're too in the dark about their own lack of dating prospects! Help them break out of that shy in the corner stage in their life and get them into the dating pool!!

04. IPs OFF and anon ON  NO WANK, NO NEGATIVITY.

05. Pimp & participate!

pimp ♥

[ooc: Suggestions are not guarantees for dates ;) but they are still fun to get! All verses, all muses welcome. If you don't have anything NICE to say? Don't say anything at all. Got it? I am turning off my notifies, but if you have any problems you can comment to any other post or send me a message through the LJ message system.]

Well, I'm a research specialist. Looking up odd pieces of fact and separating them for fiction based on the job I'm given. And I actually like to play soccer, but I haven't in years. My job keeps me traveling around almost all the time.

And since I travel, I tend to mostly eat fast food and at diners. I haven't had a home cooked meals in a few years now, but my ex loved to cook and experiment on me.

Oh, you poor thing. Fast food is disgusting. Now I want to cook for you. Mmm...Cait does cook and well, I might add.

You know, Cait's a writer. I bet she'd find your job fascinating. She does a lot of research in her own way. And soccer, or well football as she'd call it, I suppose that's a plus too.

Hey, I'm all up for a good meal.

A writer? What kind of works does she write?

I think her last book was about the IRA and the troubles in Ireland in the 1980's.

Non-fiction? That's awesome. Tends to be better reading than fiction most of the time.

[identity profile] sand-andwater.livejournal.com 2008-11-09 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm, I may be incorrect but I believe it was a fictionalized retelling. I'm ashamed to say I haven't actually read it yet. I keep meaning to...

Time just escapes you... i know that feeling.

Time running away, life taking over...it's always something, isn't it?

Yeah. When one thing is put the bed, another thing pops up.

That is certainly the truth. There are days when I don't think I will ever find a reprieve.

One has to come eventually. I mean, in the end that's what we strive for, right? Peace of mind.
