[TM] 243 - Olympics
You know I've been to the Olympics a few times now. Mean not that I was in them or anything, but seen the torch passed, watched the stadiums fill up. Been to history itself with medals being won, and lives being inspired to greatness all in a span of my life. Not that my life is even over yet, but still it's something great to witness.
Course if I was to actually compete the only thing I'd even be good at, other than rolling my eyes at the Doctor? Probably be gymnastics. Mean I took bronze before at Jericho Street Junior School, in the under-sevens? Mean wasn't exactly top scores or anything, but I did good.
These days though they train for what must be their whole life. Eat, sleep, drink gymnastics. Can't even imagine that sort of life now. I mean with all the traveling I do I barely keep any sort of regular schedule, let alone eat the same thing at the same time of day.
I could though get used to just being around the gymnasts. The males at least. All that control? The upper body strength? The precision? Mean that's worth well more than just a look, I'm thinking I'd just settle in on the mats and enjoy the male physique for a while.
So if I was in the Olympics for anything at all? I'd be a spectator, or the chalk girl. Can they have chalk girls?
