    History: Rose Tyler wikipedia.

Additional History - Rose Tyler arrived in the castle (Cair Paradisa) commonly referred to as Paradisa in December. Arriving before the holidays felt a bit nostalgic for her, but seeing as she's used to time travel she rolled with it and realized quickly just how far from home she had ended up this time. Rose spends a year and a half in the castle. She goes on adventures, fixes her dimension cannon, makes a lot of friends, meets almost all the Doctors (Five, Eight, Nine, Ten, Ten point Five, Eleven), she meets nearly all the companions and makes friends with a Dalek that lost his mind (Caan). She adopts a lot of animals from Pokemon to a dinosaur and usually ends up with them escaping, much to her chagrin. She falls in love a few times and even holds a healthy relationship with Don Flack. Then the castle takes her from her stay and plops her into Paris in July (2010). She's given different memories and she lives the next year as a baker owning her own shop. The castle, apparently, does this where it takes castle residents and plants them into the worlds that are created to entertain the residents. It gives them new memories and makes them part of that world for the time being. In December (2011) when Paris is preparing for the holidays, an influx of tourists (Paradisa's current residents) triggers memories for Rose that she hadn't recalled before. Soon she realizes that she'd been misplaced and the more people she runs into the better her memory gets. Before everyone returns to the castle, Rose's memories are mostly in tact and she too returns with everyone else, leaving Paris behind. Rose resumes her normal life in Paradisa to the best of her ability, but the transition is still difficult. She's only in the castle for another six months, before she is returned home to where she'll end up being left behind with Ten point Five as the Doctor goes on more adventures without her.

    Personality:
Rose Tyler, Defender of Earth. Once upon a time, she was just a shop girl spending her days eating chips and hanging out with her mates between trying to sleep in. She lived with her mum, Jackie, who had raised her alone after her father had passed away when she was a baby. She didn't have very many aspirations to do much of anything, and looked at her job at Henrik's purely as something to fill the time and give her pocket money. She had dropped out of school before finishing her A-Levels and wasn't a fan of school on any level. Her life was on a path of autopilot for the most part and she seemed content to let it continue this way.

However, a chance encounter with a man who introduced himself as simply the Doctor saved her life with a word - "Run." From that point on she seemed to look at the world a bit differently, as if the way she'd been living had been fit to the world she knew. Now with new-found knowledge of what exactly was out there she felt renewed and as if she could have some actual purpose. The Doctor offered her a chance to travel with him, and once it was traveling through time and space and she accepted it without hesitation.

As much as Rose needed the Doctor to show her the extraordinary things in the world and how she had a place in it all, the Doctor needed her to help heal his wounds from the Time War. Her heart, compassion, and sense of humor over time wore down the Doctor's defenses and after being with him for a while she knew she'd have done anything for him. She proves this point by breaking into the TARDIS when he's sent her home and away from danger. His directions to forget him and to live her life the way she had before isn't acceptable to her at all.

In an act that is slightly selfish, since she doesn't want to live a normal life anymore, Rose opens the heart of the TARDIS and takes in the time vortex. She transforms herself into the Bad Wolf an experience that she doesn't recall the details of until her own consciousness reawakens. Overcome with the whole of reality and all of time crammed into her head the Doctor reabsorbs it into himself with a kiss. This triggers a regeneration which Rose is witness to, and once more she fears the worst and wishes for the Doctor to return.

It takes her a bit to get used to the idea of this new look to her Doctor, but she knows him well enough to know that it's still the same man. Through her travels she saves world, defends Earth from invasion and the random events. Her determination and drive to be the person that the Doctor knows she can be pushed her forward. During events at Canary Wharf Rose is separated from the Doctor, which is heartbreaking to her since by this time she has come to realize that she loves him.

A final farewell on the beaches of Bad Wolf Bay isn't enough for her and she beings to try and find a way back to him, and back to the life she missed. Building a dimension cannon she propels herself through the dimensional walls, but in doing this she discovers a grander plot that's putting worlds and universes at risk. Once she fixes the timeline to the way it was meant to be with the help of Donna Noble, she is reunited with the Doctor finally to save the world once more. Joined by those Rose knew from her travels, and others that were companions of the Doctor the team save the Earth and a few other planets from the Daleks.

Rose is full of compassion, with a slight side of selfishness. She takes on challenges and looks at everything as an adventure. It’s not a point of view that she’s always had, but it’s the woman that she’s grown into. She tries not to think of the dangers or the risks and instead looks for the challenge and how she can help out. She can be a brat, at times, and has a healthy sense of humor. She loves food and will try anything once, even if it seems like it should still be alive.

Asking questions is a big part of how she learns things and she will always look to try and find the peaceful way out of a situation. She’s loyal and devoted, with a determination that can put most others to shame. She’ll never give up and has gone to extreme lengths to ensure that she doesn’t give up hope on those that she believes in.

How has your character changed from their canon self?

Paradisa did a lot for Rose Tyler. She had been taken from a point in her life where she believed that she was going to be able to go on more adventures with the Doctor and was unaware of what her future held for her. Being in Paradisa gave her a level of independence that she hadn't experienced before. She wasn't trying to get back to something, because she was able to have everything she wanted in the castle. She had adventures with the Doctor (without too much violence) and she got to meet people from all over the universe. She didn't have to struggle with keeping her desire to stay with her family over her desire to travel through time, because everything she needed was already there. It helped her accept her spot as a companion, too. She saw what the other Companions gave the Doctor and how they all were important to him. She helped people, not just because she was with the Doctor, but because she was capable of helping them on her own. She stepped into her own identity a lot more in Paradisa and stood separate from the Doctor(s). In a sense, I think Rose grew into being her own version of what a Time Lord could be... if Time Lords were once shop girls. She also threw a lot of parties... and owned a lot of animals.

Are they gaining any abilities from their time in game? Did the game setting take something from them?
Rose Tyler has two losses from Paradisa
Loss #1 - Her memory of Mickey Smith.
Loss #2 - Rose Tyler cannot go for more than 8 hours without notifying someone that she's safe and not getting into trouble.
